I picked Tampa because I want to go to the beach to Parasail etc. But I also want to Be near an Amusement Park, So i wanted to know what are some Nice Hotels to stay in? I'm picky when it comes to Hotels, I like the Decor to Be Nice, I do Not like the Floral "Tropical" looking decor in the rooms, they look "cheap to me" that's my only Picky Ordeal (kind of silly,i know) A 3 star on up i guess is suggested,2 Star if they're really nice i suppose. Ok, here's the situation: I'm moving to a new city for school. Since I really wanted to get a place with roommates, a few of my coworkers and I agreed that when we all go to Montreal (which we all had plans for anyways) that we would move in together. This is fine. Then one of the girls finds a place and signs the lease before the other girl and I even see it. We pay first months rent while she assures us its a great deal. Anyways, we get there..its a nice place, however, it lacks a bathroom door, a sink in the bathroom and walls dividing our individual rooms. My roomie assures me that the landlord intends to fix this (little did me know, he left for vacation for a month and wont be back for another few days). Its the end of june, I start school in september. My bf (who lives in toronto) and I were then complaining about the issue and we thought, "hey! Why dont we get a place"..so he applied to a bunch of schools in the area. And recently got in. SO! We want to move in together (into a better and closer place to my school) But HE can only come around august/september. So...what do I do about my current apartment, I haven't signed the lease, but I don't want to leave my roommates without someone to pay a third of the rent. How can I find somewhere to stay without REALLY inconveniencing my roommates or moving out for 2 months? (btw this is my first out-of-home experience with apartments...) Sorry if the question is confusing... Thanks Kemperk But what I'm really worried about is the lease and the landlord..Do I stay in the apartment until my bf can move into the region? Do I sign the lease now and then sublet it for the rest of the year?...Do I not sign the lease and make an agreement with my roomies to pay my half until I'm gone?... moreVoting Question: disneyworld?????????????????

Just out of curiousity... I will be graduating college next August 2010, but I am not ready to "settle" into a career just yet. I wish to travel. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of programs that allow you to volunteer in the UK? For example: Are there any places that want you to volunteer for them, and they provide accomodations? Or, are there study abroad programs - mainly for the experience of it (I'm not looking for a degree here) I'm just looking for ideas, as I would like to travel for a longer period of time, as opposed to going on a "week vacation". Thanks. Any ideas would be appreciated. Just a side note - I currently live in Canada, if that matters at all. moreVoting Question: What places do you recommend to go for vacation in August?
Hey everybody, could you please give me some suggestions of where to go for vacation, that is not too expensive! websites with deals would be great, along with places** Please speak from personal experiences. So that you have an idea, I usually like to go to places with historical monuments, museums, fashion, shopping, fun places, new places, not so much for relaxing like being on the beach the whole day, that's boring. But i wouldn't mind a beach being around. I was thinking of going to Greece, but what is there to do in Greece? I've gone to Spain and France already, so they are not in my plans for this year. Thank you so much for your suggestions!! moreResolved Question: Going to Kissimmee & visiting theme parks with a family member,How do I budget for it sensibly?

Me and my girlfriend, mid-20s, are looking to take a trip in mid to late August. We have narrowed it down to the Guanacaste area in CR, particularly the Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort, or somewhere in the Dominican Republic (any suggestion for the DR would help also). CR looks beautiful, but doesn't sound like much nightlife, which is fine if we have great places to see that are fairly close and the hotel has things to do. The DR sounds like a better nightlife, but not as beautiful and diverse outdoors. Any recommendations or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! moreResolved Question: Mother daughter vacation?

My boyfriend and I hang out everyday and have a relationship where we do everything together- try new things, go exciting places, and just talk for hours. He's my best friend and lover at the same time. And now all of a sudden he's wanting to hang out with his guy friends and not me. I'm about to go on vacation and he isn't arranging for us to hang out beforehand. I told him I wanted to do something special and he didn't seem interested. He is “short” on the phone with me. He gives me very short answers, to the point where I feel like I'm bothering him. I ask him about his day, or mood, or what he is thinking because he's so hard to read. He has unpredictable mood swings where suddenly he yells at me for doing something wrong the whole night that I didn't even know I was doing. So I'm constantly on my toes, trying to pick up cues and make sure I'm in the right mood and acting the way he wants at that particular time. Should I back off? Give him space and act like I'm fine? Or go out with my girlfriends too? He's not one to get jealous, he says. He says he “doesn't play chase or mind games.” He will never let me “manipulate” him in anyway. I'm afraid if I do anything at all, he'll think I'm trying to be a “manipulative girl.” I'm also afraid to keep talking like we always have and get on his nerves. I'm on my period now, so maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I don't want to break up with him, I just want him to want me again. Also, in August he is moving 2 hours away to finish college. We only have so much time together before he goes away and only sees me on holidays. (he is an engineer and can't come home on weekends, he says) I wanted to spend as much time as possible with him... moreVoting Question: Cheap vacation? Please help me find one!?
Okay, so I am a single mother and I really want to take my daughter to the beach for a vacation this year. We go every year but her father took off so I can't afford to spend much this year. I would like to spend no more than $500. Anyone interested in helping me find one? Please do not just send links to realty companies, I need specific places. I'd like to stay close to a week.. or 4-5 days would be fine.. The week of August 2nd. Thanks!! moreVoting Question: Vacation Ideas for College students?
I would like to go on vacation with my girlfriend this coming end of August, we were thinking about something tropical are relative inexpensive, since we only have a budget of $1300 between the both of us, Including plane, stay, and food, and leaving out of Philadelphia. I want to go to a place similar to Playa del Carmen, Mexico but not in Mexico since i have been there so many times, but I want something relatively safe, nice environment, nice nightlife, and outside the US it doesnt matter if we have to rough it for a little bit in a crappy hotel as long as we are in better beaches than Wildwood. Going on vacation in August and wanting to know the best place to get airline tickets. moreResolved Question: My friend broke my leg and cost me $13,000. What should I do?
A few weeks ago, 5 close friends and I went on a fishing trip in Canada. We are all in our late 20's and due to our hectic schedules and different locations, we don't get to see each other all that often. So this is our trip to sort of break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life back home in the States. So we finally got to our remote camp in the middle of the Canadian wilderness and of course, tipped back on some booze and beer around the campfire. We were all kind of horsing around and just having a good time, when all of the sudden my best friend (we'll say his name is John) decides to tackle me from behind as a joke. By doing so, I fell to the ground and his body fell on my leg and broke it. It was horrible. I screamed bloody murder as they eventually carried me into the cabin and laid me down on a cot. The next morning I woke up in intense pain as John was looking at my leg. He said we needed to get to a hospital asap. So he drove me to the nearest hospital, which was 2 hours away. The took xrays and confirmed that my fibula was in fact split above my ankle and that I had severe sprains to the other side of the ankle. They told me that I should get back to the states as soon as I could to see a specialist. So they rigged me up with a temporary splint and some pain pills to hold me over for a few days. I didn't want to cancel the trip for the rest of the crew though, so I toughed it out at camp with the guys for the remaining 7 days of the vacation.. The cost for that brief hospital visit here was $560.00. John put it on his credit card because I didn't have any money on me at the moment. It was one of those do or die situations anyway. A few days later, he told me that he would give me 10 months to pay him back for that $560.00 bill. I didn't think anything of it at the time because the whole situation was sort of a blur and an accident.. So I agreed. As the week went on though, I realized that the trip would soon be over and reality would sink back in for everyone when all got back home. The way it always does.. Except for me, my reality was dealing with my leg when I got back home. Everyone else would go back to their normal every day life. The 15 hour ride back to states was incredibly painful though as I was stuck in an awkward position in the back seat. The nearest place I could get medical attention was in Wisconsin, which is where my mother lives. The 5 guys dropped me off there and all went back down to Chicago, where they live. I actually live in Tennessee. So I decided it would best to stay with her Wisconsin so she could drive me to and from the hospital, as it was my right leg that was broken and I was unable to drive. So we got to the hospital the next day and the Orthopedic doctor examined my leg and immediately scheduled me for an open reduction surgery. There was no question about it. It was much worse than we thought with severe ligament damage as well. Here's the real kicker. I am a single aspiring photographer and at the moment, I don't have health insurance. So as soon as I heard that I needed surgery, I told John that he had to pay for that $560.00 bill in Canada. Jokingly over email I said "You are paying for that, I don't care what you say hahaha".. He got a little upset with me for being so direct, but he agreed to pay for that bill. Oh yeah, John is married with a newborn and makes $70k/year. Over the course of the week, I sent him a few emails that stated how much misery I was in and how screwed I am because of all this.. That I have to move back to Wisconsin for 3 months, go through surgery, find out how to pay for it, etc..etc..I think at one point I even compared it to a car accident. That drunk or sober, he was still responsible for it.. Which is in fact true if you think about it.. Simple cause and effect. Cause he was drunk and tackled me, my leg broke and I am in this horrible situation.. Much of it was somewhat joking, but he is a close friend and I thought he would understand my misery.. Instead, John got really frustrated with me and told me to stop making him feel so guilty for this.. Anyway, I went through with the surgery two weeks ago. It was the worst experience ever. My leg was cut wide open to insert a metal plate and 7 screws into my fibula.. I am unable to walk until August (2-3 months). Here is the worst part of all.. My medical bills arrived and have totaled $13,000.00.. All of which I do NOT have. Hell I don't even have $100 in my checking account after the vacation. My work market (photography) is down in Nashville and I am stuck in Wisconsin, where there are no musicians to take photos of! So I am unable to work for the entire summer, unable to walk for the entire summer and I am stiffed with $13,000 in medical bills. John has completely avoided contacting me after he heard how much the medical bills were. He is solely responsible for this, but there is no way I am going to sue my best friend. I would think he would hav In response to "Wickedd". Yes I agree, I should have had insurance. But due to the tight economy (I know, I hate to use that as an excuse), but I have had no luck landing a full time gig with benefits. I'm super talented with a stacked resume, but no one seems to be biting at the moment. I had an agent/headhunter that I was working with and we were getting near to closing in on a deal before I left.. But I had to tell them the bad news when I got back that I could not do anything full time until August. It was just incredibly bad timing for this to happen to me.. It's not like it was by laziness or choice that I didn't have insurance. moreResolved Question: Best Vacation Spots in AUGUST!?

There's 10 of us.... Two couples... Mid to late 20's.... and the rest are singles.... 22-26. I'm planning a vacation. We originally were going to take a cruise out of New Orleans..... but the more that I've been looking into the all inclusive resorts... that sounds like a better idea. We have all planned to go the second week of August... but some how I always seem to be the coordinator! Lol! Two out of our group have been to Playa del Carmen, Puerto Rico, and three cruises.... Money to half of the group isn't a problem.... but the other half is on a budget. We like to party! So I was wondering where you all thought the best place for us to say in Cancun would be.... just thinking an all inclusive round trip to Cancun would be more fun than a cruise. The best place for the money? We don't want to be the youngest people at the resort nor do we want a bunch of kids running around... Thanks in advance! moreResolved Question: Where should I go on summer vacation?
I live in NYC and don't have enough time to get a passport. I want to go somewhere some time in late july/ early august. I'm traveling with my boyfriend. We like beaches, swimming in the ocean, fun outdoor stuff like hiking, sailing, jet skiis etc. Night life is great but I don't want a "spring break" type atmosphere. Maybe something a little more romantic and classy but not TOO expensive. We are both in our early 20s and in most states we cannot rent cars (must be 25 in most places). We also love art, music, dining out, lounging on the beach, shopping, and places with really nice scenery. Any ideas? Can't be too far of a flight from NYC, I just flew out to Vegas a month ago and would rather not spend 8 hours on a plane any time soon. I heard that you can't swim in the ocean in California though... is that true? moreResolved Question: Where can i / best place to buy tickets online for concerts and/or shows in california?

What are some good places to go in Disney world for all of our age groups so we won't have a miserable time? moreResolved Question: My Landlord charged me and another family rent for the same place at the same time...?
The house we were living in recently was one that we rented out of desperation. My husband's job brought us into the area, and it was literally the only rental option at the time. We signed a one year lease, which would have been up this August. The landlords are a couple that own 15 rental properties in the area, and each time they promised to fix something or buy something that they should for the house, it didn't happen. I'm not a confrontational person, so I let it go. Also, we are friends w/ the people who lived there before us and found out that their rent was almost $100 cheaper than ours. No law against raising your rent - it just irritates b/c they're just being greedy. We found a new place to move into in May. In April I called our landlords and asked if they would let us out of the lease if they could find someone to move in and replace us. They agreed. Immediately they found someone new, but the person couldn't move in until June 1. I agreed to pay until the end of May, even though I would be moving out May 15. I went away on vacation at the end of may and my mom was staying at home with my kids. She drove past my old house on May 27 and saw the new tenants moving in. My mom got out of the car, pretended to just welcome them to the neighborhood, then asked them if they started paying rent beginning the 27th or June 1 (i know, they must've thought she was crazy). The woman told her May 27th. So not only did the landlords move them in while the house was still technically under lease to me (i was still paying for it!) but they charged them also. Is this legal?? We're in Pennsylvania. The returned rent for the days the lived there would be about $150. I know it doesn't sound like much, but the landlords are being dreadful about our security deposit. We didn't mow the lawn for a final time (I fully admit we should have - we were wrong), but they charged us $170 for a 75x100 lot! Then when I argued about it, they started threatening to charge me for "breaking" my lease. If they are doing this to us, a family, I can only imagine what they are doing to all the college kids they rent to! moreVoting Question: Where should I go on vacation? Please Help!?

I'm planning to have a 1-week-vacation on one of the Greek islands with 2 friends in August. Yet we have only little idea about the islands. I'll be happy if you can recommend places or give advice on what to do. We want to have an affordable but fun vacation. Like spending time on the beach during the day and going to clubs at night... Sure all islands have nice beaches but we also want somewhere fun with a lively nightlife, young and fun people. We are looking for a reasonably priced lodging - not looking for luxury - just a clean and safe place to sleep and shower. Which island would you recommend and why? I would appreciate as many useful answers as possible. Thank you so much for your help! moreVoting Question: Is this enough to confirm that she is interested in me? Does the BF EVEN EXIST?
Please, this may seem like very long, but read through it by the time you finish it, you'll be like "What? Finished already>?" You'll delve into the story basically. I really need feedback and suggestions/helpful responses. Ok; I met this gorgeous 17 year old girl a while ago. She just came to USA few months before I met her. I talked to her(we met on the street), and eventually I asked for her email address before we parted our ways. She gave it to me without question. For 2-3 months, we constantly emailed each other, learning a lot about each other's personalities and interests. Shocking? We had ALMOST EVERY SINGLE same interest! During the time, I asked her for her phone number. Again, without question, she gave it to me: We texted each other then. Eventually, I asked her to go out with me to the movies or something, once we catch up again, it was a while we hadn't seen each other(since the first time we met). Then we finally met again; before meeting her again, she ONCE AGAIN gave me her newer cell number. No question asked. -Date/Outing #1 It was great. We watched a romantic comedy. She loved it. She wouldn't stop talking and laughing throughout the whole outing. She made obvious excuses to touch me. I gifted her a ROSE. 5-6 years hours, we go home. I walk her home, she basically shows me her living place. When I dropped her off; overnight, she emailed me; with a horrid statement "I have a boyfriend. We're just friends right?" As casual and easy-brushing I am, I was kinda heart-broken, but I shrugged and emailed back in a casual, non-caring manner: "Really? Thats cool. What's his name, personality, etc?" She replied back with: "Why are you so curious? He LIVES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY." BAM. That's ALL SHE EVER SAID OF him. It's been like a month, the bf has NEVER BEEN BROUGHT UP AGAIN; NEVER TALKED OR REFERENCED OF. Ever. ---- In the one month, we have gone on MULTIPLE dates/outings; movies, dinner, sports, parks, walks, etc. Throughout these outings, the bf was never mentioned, and the following has taken place over the course: SIGNS SHE LIKES ME/IS INTERESTED IN ME: -She;s become WAY TOO comfortable with me. -She's grabbed, touched and held me on account of obvious pretending, for example, pretending to lose her balance so she can hold onto my shoulder and/or expect me to grab her while she does something. -She is ALWAYS talking to me; 99% of the time we are together. She loves to talk lol. Our longest silence is around 10 seconds, ONLY. -Even in the earlier outings, where we were still somewhat strangers to each other, kinda= she had no doubts about going to deserted places like beach shores at night with me. She would lead the way, and stay horribly close to me, shoulder to shoulder, or her back on my chest. -On one of the earlier outings, when I dropped her off and shook her hand, she turned sideways and walked into me basically; I suppose she was asking for a HUG, so I sorta gave her a SIDEWAYS HUG. She laughed and we said goodbye. -WE have HUGGED for real now; and she accepts my hug without any signs of resistance; when we meet, and when we depart. It usually lasts about 5 seconds though, but I think I PULL away earlier(I should stop I know). Basically, our direct body contact barrier is now....*CRASH!* BROKEN! Whoo? Lol She's basically very comfortable in getting a hug from me, and she has initiated some of them too. -I HAVE KISSED her cheek already. The first time I did it, it was as if she was ASKING for it, because during the goodnight hug, she kept moving her cheek towards my face, and I just gave her a peck. What happens? She STUTTERS. She quickly moves off, and basically "walk-runs" to her doorway. But she stops at the door to look back at me, and I start a convo with her again. She stutters but manages to reply, and it lasts about 30 seconds or so, and we say good bye and she leaves. NEXT DAY: I see her; and she responses to me as if nothing happened last night. She smiles as she sees me coming to her, and slightly opens her arms for the hug. She laughs and then playfully hits/pushes me; because I was a FEW MINUTES late lol. We talk, and I drop her off at her destination. This is the last time I see her before August. Because she's gotta go on a summer vacation. So we stop at her destination, chat a little, a final for now goodbye hug, and the occasional kiss(2nd time so far). But this time, SHE DOESN'T STUTTER! (Woot! Does crazy dance) Um, yeah, no stuttering this time; rather, she talks back full of confident and laughs. We depart with a final goodbye; for about 2 months. Anyways; despite telling me on our first date/outing that she has a BF even though omitting all details; she has done all this with me: -mutliple dates/outings -touching -being comfortable -giving personal info -talking about personal life -hugging *AND KISSING* -Does she LIKE ME? -DOES THAT BF EVEN EXIST? -How have I done so far to build our relationship(this happened around 5 months time, the first meeting, asking for email ALL the way until our first kissing and such. I got to know her VERY well. She's told me many personal things. She's told me emotional things. Talked of personal life and problems. I LOVE her personality and character. I've got her to trust me and I trust her. I've got her to be comfortable with me and I'm comfortable with her. I've got her to initiate hugs but not kissed yet(like, damn!? lol) WHY I'm taking it slow? Because I RESPECT HER and don't want to make her feel uncomfortable. moreResolved Question: how can i get the most out of my summer?
I'm a 16 yr. old high school junior. My mom leaves with my little brother June 9th for vacation and she will come back August 20th. It will just be me and my dad. But he works 7 days a week. I plan on doing drivers ed for two weeks in late june or maybe in july. other than that, i have applied to many places to work but have gotten no calls back yet. I have about $1200 to my account. I want to chill a lot with my friends this summer, but they all drive and i dont so it makes me feel like a freeloader. i especially hate when girls have to drive me. theres this one girl who kinda likes me and i wanna chill with her a lot but my dad would go crazy if i hang out with girls (my parents are muslims, they hate that stuff) so how can i get to do all that stuff and have fun? i also plan on a regimen to become faster for track season. moreResolved Question: Moving to Orlando Florida?
I am moving to Orlando Florida by the end of August. But I am planning a trip in July to look for places to live. Is Orlando a nice place to live? I have been there twice for vacations. I am from Michigan and hate it here! No jobs, roads are crap & bad weather! So I am moving but needed some help. What is the best way to go about this? moreVoting Question: Should I bother getting a job?
I'm 15 and I want to earn some money over the summer. I have xc practice almost any day and I am going on vacation for one week in September before school starts and one for about 16 days in July-August.. would it be pointless to get a job and if not what places would you suggest working? moreResolved Question: What would be the best all-inclusive place to go on vacation for 20-somethings?
Me and my 2 cousins are planning a trip for this August. Originally, we planned Punta Cana, but we figured we'd keep our options open. Does anyone have any other suggestions for us to go? We have our passports, we're looking for someplace with an amazing beach, all-inclusive, preferably a sushi bar :), and something unforgettable! We're all between the ages of 21-24 and love to drink and party, but also lay around by a pool and get pampered. We're looking to spend max $1,000 but obviously love a deal. We are looking for a NICE resort though so nothing cheaper than like $800. moreResolved Question: Recommended Myrtle Beach resort?
My family and I are going on vacation in August to Myrtle Beach. I have a large family so we want to rent a house/resort of some sort. It definitely has to be oceanfront. Any places of recommendations? moreResolved Question: what's a good tropical vacation to take?
it's my dad's 50th birthday and we wanted to go somewhere tropical. it would be in august, which may be hard cause it's hurricane season. we've been to the majority of the islands in the Caribbean, on cruises and/or just staying in resorts. does anyone have any good places to go? maybe suggest a hotel or even just a good spot to go, ex bahamas. i would LOVE to go to the cayman islands! money wise, normally we don't worry too much about money but this summer we have to go to 3 weddings! so that might call for a more feasible vacation this summer, so yeah ANY THOUGHTS? moreResolved Question: Vacation in New Zealand or Australia?
My wife and I are planning to visit Australia in a few months. I have since wondered if it would be better to just visit New Zealand. We'll have 12 days (I guess 10 vacation days with the travel) and would like to not spend a king's ransom on the trip (3k-4k for everything would be nice). So, if visiting in August/September, which place has the better offering for tourists that time of year or should we try to do both? Kiwi vs. Aussie: let's hear it. moreVoting Question: how is Newport, Rhode Island for vacation/summer jobs?
I and my friend want to go to Newport, Rhode island for couple months (july and august) for a summer job/vacation. Why Newport? Because ive been there twice and im in love with this place. So, does anybody know 1. How possible is it to find a job (stores, hotels, restaurants, babysitter(?) etc 2. What is the cost of living there? 3. Is it easy to find something cheap to rent (1 room would be enough) Thank you guys so much for your help in advance moreResolved Question: Where to? Russia or Australia? Help me!?
I am trying to decide where to take my summer vacation. My two choices are Australia and Russia, but since i am student and have a limited income; I can only visit one place. I have been to both of these amazing countries: I was born in Alma ta, Kazakhstan, and I visit St. Petersburg because I have relatives who live there. I grew up in Australia and I haven't gone back since i moved to Canada seven years ago. I miss my home and friends in Australia, and I miss the motherland where I am from. Can you help me decide? I leave in August. moreResolved Question: California or New York for vacation?
I live in Miami Florida and my family are deciding taking a vacation. The only problem is that we don't know where we want to go. We have chose it down to California or New York City. Which one should we pick? Which has more attractions? FYI- We are leaving somewhere in August. My family is 2 adults and a 10 year old and 14 year old (me) so which place would suit us all? (More fun?) moreResolved Question: August Vacation--Vegas or Florida?
My boyfriend and I are planning to book a trip in August. It's pretty hot just about anywhere during that month but that's the only time we could both get off of work. So since I lived in Arizona most of my life, I find the desert heat a lot more enjoyable. And considering Las Vegas is hundreds of miles further north I'm assuming it's not really that bad. I've been to Florida before in November and it was very hot and humid, so I can only imagine how humid it will probably be in August. If you had a choice of either going to Las Vegas in the August heat or going to Florida to go on a Caribbean cruise in the heat, which do you think would be the most comfortable? And if you've been to either of the places during the summer, were you inside most of the time? For Vegas, what kinds of things can people do there besides gamble? we're both 22 and his only reason for not wanting to go to vegas is because of the heat. he's thinking the desert is going to be a lot worse moreResolved Question: Rome - 1 night or 3 nights, and which area?
Hi, My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon to Europe/Mediterranean, starting off in Rome, Italy. It's going to be a 3 week vacation and we have a choice between 1 night or 3 nights in Rome (Friday 7th to 8th August, or Wednesday 5th to 8th August). I would like to find out: a) At the moment, all I know is I want to visit the Colosseum! My fiancee and I aren't too familar with the history of Rome and museums and things, and I'm yet to read more about it..but I figured getting personal opinions is the best place to start! What "must see" places are there in Rome for tourists who are new to Italy? b) Personal opinion - 1 night or 3 nights in Rome? I suppose everyone would respond with 3 nights? ;) c) I'm looking into hotels and finding lots of recommendations for hotels that are near or around the "Termini railway station". Is this location very good for the places you may recommend? d) The following hotel looks really nice but a bit expensive, can anyone tell me if this location is really good? "Kolbe Hotel Rome is located in a really extraordinary position, in the deep historic centre, inside the Roman Forum, behind the Capitol and in front of Palatino Hill, assuming the important role of location in the heart of the Ancient Rome." http://www.kolbehotelrome.com/hotel-location-in-historical-rome.htm e) If anyone would definitely recommend any affordable 4 star hotel (from personal experience) please let me know :) Many thanks! moreResolved Question: Canadian vacation,.. where to go?
My fiancee and I are taking a 10 day vacation in the beginning on August, driving from NYC to Canada. Well first off, what is there to do at Manicouagan Lake? I know it's a 210 million year old meteor crater and it's way up north but what is there to do besides fish and tool around in a boat? On the other hand we are considering going to Quebec City and working our way up to the tip of the Gaspe Peninsula or going through Maine and then to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We like to camp, thus avoiding hotels and paying a fortune for room rentals and we like to hike too. We aren't really into fancy restaurants and glitzy stuff. Odd, unique out of the way places interest us. Tourist spots with rude, fat, noisy dorks are a turn off. moreThe Best Place To Vacation In August News
