Every time I meet a new person, I say hi, every time my brother meets a new person, he always has something entertaining to say, like how his dog humped him this mourning, or how he hates the way his co-workers smell, and within five minutes of knowing that person, he will inevitably sneak up on them by surprise and pull a chair from under them, or scare them with a Halloween Einstein mask, and me….I just said …Hi. Like, my parents told me they don’t even know me that well because I don’t talk a lot. I don’t know, I’m just more serious. I recently posted a question about Halloween ideas, and something I mentioned was that last Halloween, the kids and I decorated the house into a haunted house. As a prank on my wife who was coming home, I put on a hockey mask, removed the blade from an old chainsaw. I then burst out of the closet with the chainsaw running and chased her down the hallway and out to the driveway while the kids caught it on tape. Some genius posted, "You're lucky she didn't pull out a gun she had bought unbeknownst to you and shot you dead right in front of the kids!" I responded, "Alright, now why the hell would my wife buy a gun without telling me about it, AND carry it around town, AND keep it in a house with children living inside?!?" She said, "Wake up...many women own guns that their husbands don't know about. About 1 in 5 women secretly buy guns and say nothing to their partner about it. You're lucky to be alive!" You notice that in most slasher movies.. especially Friday the 13th, Halloween, My Bloody Valentine, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and many more.. the killers are always in masks, and they always use bladed weapons. They rarely, if ever, use guns, and they're always mute.. meaning they never utter a word. Why is this? A couple were invited to a swanky family masked fancy dress Halloween party. The wife got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone. So he took his costume and away he went. The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, woke without pain and as it was still early, decided to go to the party. So she joined the party and soon spotted her husband in his costume, cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice 'chick' he could and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there. His wife went up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his new partner high and dry and devoted his time to her. She let him go as far as he wished, naturally, since he was her husband. After more drinks he finally whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had passionate intercourse in the back seat. Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away and went home and put the costume away and was sitting up reading when he came in, so she asked what kind of time he had. 'Oh, the same old thing'. Halloween is coming up in a few months so I started thinking about what I was going to go as this year. This is something that has gotten on my nerves for a long time. Rob Zombie is coming out with Halloween 2 in August, so I have been scanning movie message boards all over the internet and a lot of people are voicing their disdain for Zombie's version of the character Michael Myers. That is fine and dandy. However, the REASONING behind some of these people hating Zombie's Myers is absolutely ridiculous. For example, some people say "I hate Zombie's Myers because he is 7 feet tall!", "I hate Zombie's Myers because he may not wear the mask all the way through Halloween 2!", OR "I hate Zombie's Myers because he doesn't want to kill Laurie in the first one!" These people are COMPLETELY missing the point of Zombie's movies. First of all, the movies AREN'T remakes, they are a completely different take on the story, so you can't compare the two! Did I like the original Halloween better? YES. But, I appreciated Zombie's Halloween, and I'm not going to say I hate it based solely on evidence from the first movie. You can't compare Carpenter's Myers and Zombie's Myers because THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHARACTERS! Zombie's Myers is more human, as we see in Halloween 2 when he has the hood, the messed up mask, and the long hair and beard. Isn't it amazing in the original Halloweens how Michael's hair or beard never grew? A real person's hair would grow like crazy. You think Michael goes and gets a haircut? Come on. Zombie is adding the human concept to the character, so comparing the two is stupid. Now, it's okay to say "I like Carpenter's Myers better than Zombie's Myers". That's fine. However, don't say "I don't like Zombie's Myers because it's not like Carpenter's Myers." That's like saying "I don't like Jason Voorhees because he doesn't have claws on his hand." I see people all the time put storylines on here, and most of the time they are absolutely ridiculous. So, I thought I would try out my own and see what you people think. This is a storyline that involves Vickie Guerrero, Edge, Kane, and The Undertaker. On Smackdown this Friday, Vickie comes out and says that although she is leaving the WWE, she wants to get revenge on Edge for embarrassing her on RAW. She calls Edge out and Edge comes. She threatens to reveal a video tape of Edge's backstage actions after Wrestlemania. Edge begs and pleads for her not to show it and that it was supposed to be "their little secret". Vickie tells the people in the back to play the video and walks off laughing.... The video plays and it is footage of HBK and Undertaker talking after Wrestlemania, shaking hands, and giving each other respect after their classic match. HBK walks off, and then Edge attacks Undertaker from behind with a chair! This explains why Undertaker has been out for so long! Edge explains that he wanted to eliminate any threat to him on Smackdown and he will go to any lengths to assure that he is the face of Smackdown. Teddy Long comes out and says tonight, it will be Edge vs. a man who wants revenge. Hence, the return of Kane. Edge ends up winning the match by cheating and drives Kane off in a car. The next week Edge shows footage of a house burning...and he says he told everyone he would do ANYTHING to assure he is the face of Smackdown, ANYTHING. As Edge moves on and feuds with someone else, someone continues to stalk him. Slowly but surely, we see Kane's mask from the shadows, much like a Michael Myers effect in the Halloween movies. Soon, Kane returns with a new mask, black and red, a new outfit, and a bald head. Finally, Kane has a refreshing start before he retires. Also, Vickie would have no more part in the storyline besides revealing the video. Everyone, I know Vickie is gone. A couple was invited to a swanky masked Halloween Party. She got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone. He, being a devoted husband, protested, but she argued and said she was going to take some aspirin and go to bed and there was no need of his good time being spoiled by not going. So he took his costume and away he went. The wife, after sleeping soundly for one hour, awakened without pain, and as it was still early, she decided to go to the party. Very strange and random I'm sure. But I was updating my 43 things this week when I was driving along the coast & came up with a very crazy/silly/awesome idea. I want to ride along the ocean with a Batgirl costume. Something about a cape flying in the wind just sounds... well, aptly nerdy but rad. In any event, upon showing this to a friend, he immediately told me that I should not wear a mask when I do it because I could be arrested. He said a friend was cited for doing it on Halloween. Something to do with criminal intent or mischief. And was arrested or cited. Does anyone know if this is actually true or what the law in particular is? My initial intent was not to wear a mask anyway. However... this piques my curiosity muchly. Does anyone know? (And yes, I'm completely serious) @Diesal doubtful. The idea came about because I was wearing a hoodie and it was flapping behind me. okay,me and a couple of my close friends are starting a rock band,and we all agree that it would be best if we concealed our identities. I recently came up with the idea that we should wear masks, and they agreed that sounded cool,and that we don't want to wear those floppy, skin like latex masks that you see so much with Halloween masks and stuff.We want to wear hard face masks,that are creepy/evil and cool at the same time. i guess you could say we want hockey masks, just shaped, and without all the holes. I have a story: We started out as partners in science lab. We = Todd* and I. We went to the library and study under the big oak tree outside the library while drinking hot chocolate. (the library was also a coffee shop). We became best friends instantly. We were both nerds w/ glasses who liked goofy, random things. We were no where near girlfriend and boyfriend. He didn't do romantic things for me and i did the same. But i didn't care. We dressed up in costumes at the party supplies store, go to see comedies at the movies with other buds and go down and enjoy our hot chocolate under the oak tree where we first met. I could be stupid around him and he could be himself with me. We were great friends but i secretly loved him. I decided to say so on our next study date at the library. It went something like this: "Hey ya know there's a Halloween dance coming up you and i could go together.....and you can scare everyone there! You got a scary mask on after all!", i added quickly to make it less awkward with our usual friendly teasing. " i like you a lot and i want us to be more than just friends".
