Open Question: How do i save my Auto Tune Voice in Fruity Loops (PLEASE HELP)?

Ok so.. i record my voice in Edison, and also ASIO4ALL Is involved. The Auto Tune works just fine, and then i save it in edison and i play it back in windows media player and the Auto tune fx has gone i can hear my voice with no effect. i save it in .wav Whats going wrong?? is there anything i can do? Any help would be amazing! Please help me :( more

After watching Skins at someone's house we left the DVD menu on and it looped the song which I think is Nude by Radiohead so I went to look it up on iTunes and they have like vocal stem and string fx stem. So can anyone tell me what's the difference? Is Nude (String FX Etc. Stem) the same as the trailer version? Or does it repeat the same section from the trailer over and over? I don't know the technical side of music and can't find the different tracks to compare because the iTunes sample is small. Thanks :) more

Resolved Question: Is the Boss GT-6 a good multi effects pedal?

Is the Boss GT-6 any good? I've heard it's actually better than the GT-8, but not sure how that could be. Would it be any good to use live (not that I do)? What are the wah functions and pedal like? Do I need to worry about pre-amp/post-amp/fx-loops/etc? I know nothing about that stuff and would like to be able to just 'plug n play'. I've got the Boss PW-10 wah pedal and don't like it because when you turn the effect on/off by pressing the pedal down, there is a slight moment of silence. I have a buyer for my Orange Rocker30 amp/Marshall 1960av cabinet for 2,200 maybe 2,000. He referred me to some guy selling a Mesa Boogie Triple Recto w/ cabinet for 1,000. I say "forget my deal dude, get that amp" he's stubborn because he's favorite bands use Orange. and he loves my specific setup. I just want to know. Is there anyway some of you guitar heads out there can say "OH this Mesa amp is so versitile you can do those vintage things like Orange dial down the tone it's not only a METAL amp" you know? My favorite bandsl ike Deftones and Glassjaw use them though. and they still add exerpeimental stuff... imsure you can i me an.. it has an fx loop.. more

Here's my problem I've recently upgraded from a combi amp to the new Marshall AVT Tribute 150 Series head and cab. This is getting used for live performances as well as studio work. I also have a Boss BCB-60 pedal board which contains the following pedals:- Boss CS3 Compression Sustainer Boss BD2 Blues Driver Boss OD3 Overdrive Boss TR2 Tremolo Boss CE5 Chorus Ensemble Boss DD7 Digital Delay On bypass is a TU2 Tuner and NS2 Noise Supressor At the start of the chain there's a Crybaby Wah pedal. the problem is when on the overdrive channel on the amp, the effects dont get through, but when i place the board through the FX loop its as if i need a booster or EQ pedal could this be the case ? please help email if you need any more info thanks more

have a JCM 900 50w 4502 combo 2x12 and the front input jack is out. Very little signal coming through. The FX loop input in the rear of the head CRANKS though. All the tubes are lit up orange, preamp tubes included. HLP PLZ? Cables are A-OK and my SG has a dirty vol. pot but thats about it. I can plug the rest of my rig into the fx loop and get a great sound thru my TS-9. I'll try workin the 1/4" in and out. thX! more

i have a B-52 half stack and it has a send and return for effects right off the head. i was wondering wich kind guitar effects should go through this loop. i know that some ppl use the wah staight from there guitar to amp, and i was wondering if there is a difference in quality between running through the heads effects loop or from guitar to pedals to amp. Resolved Question: Guitarists--Through the loop or in the chain?

Hey- I'm not a guitar n00b for starters, just lookin for some advice. I run a Pocket Pod, 535q Wah, MXR phase 90 and a Boss Flanger through my Vox half stack. My problem is that i'm having a hard time getting the sounds that i hear with head phones plugged into the POD to sound "Full" out of the amp. All effects aside, i use the POD for my tones-clean and distorted, but i;m having a hard time EQing the amp and POD together to get a beefy and "real" sounding tone. So my real question is, will i have more luck with my EQ issues if I run the POD through my chain, right before the amp, or if i should throw it into the FX loop. I know that the difference would be that in the chain, its pedal before the amps onboard preamp and EQ and in the loop its after. Any help would be GREAT. Resolved Question: GeForce 5200 Game Crashes?

I tried a web search, and maybe I'm not specific enough to find a useful answer so I hope someone here can help. My computer is a number of years old, and all I know about it is that it's got 512MB RAM, a 2.4 Ghz AMD XP processor. I added a nvidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra to the AGP slot. Also, the mother board is nForce 2. I would think everything would work together nicely. I have the most recent drivers. Now, when I play ANY 3D game my computer will randomly crash. The screen will show diagonal lines about .5 inches wide, repeating and filling the entire screen. The lines have the same colors as the scene does just before the crash. My audio will loop every half second for about 4 seconds, then will go silent. The only thing I can do at this point is power cycle my computer - control, alt, delete does nothing. The games run smoothly right until the crash. I'm suspecting a hardware issue, but maybe someone can offer me some solutions that won't cost me any money to try. Thanks. more

Resolved Question: Graphics card failing? Is it shot?

Alright so here's the thing. I have an nVidia GeForce FX 5500 256 MB graphics card. It would play all the games I wanted like Halo, Red Faction, World of Warcraft, etc. just fine. But then I went to update my graphics drivers and all of a sudden now my 3d games play for 5-10 seconds maybe longer and then the game freezes but the sound continues looping and then after 5-20 seconds it unfreezes, continues gameplay, and then it happens again. When I had WoW installed it even did that and then went to a Blue Screen of Death and I had to shutoff and turn off my computer. I tried rolling back the drivers cuz things were working perfectly fine before yet no luck. I still cant play my 3d games anymore. They all keep freezing/soundlooping/unfreezing and repeating that which is annoying. Any help would be appreciated. I've also since uninstalled WoW and reinstalled once which didnt help so i uninstalled it again. But I will reinstall if needed to see what the BSoD said. Everything worked perf Everything worked perfectly before I tried upgrading my drivers. Also Ive tried uninstalling my graphics card drivers and reinstalling them. Yet no luck. I'm trying to choose a few distortion pedals so far I have voodoo lab sparkle drive and proco's you dirty rat. Now since I've pretty much got the two extremes. I'm looking for lighter and heavier distortions. I personally like the distortion from tube amps but quit on them because they're difficult to move around and the FX Loop is a pain. My main question is what's the difference from solid state distortion pedals like the Boss DS-1, Ibanez tubescreamer. And tube preamp/distortion pedals like Ibanez tubeking, Damage control stuff, etc. more

Sorry for pretty much posting this question. But now I've learned a couple new things. I haven't actually gotten an actual marshall stack but am heavily leaning towards it. I'm wondering could a preamp pedal like a (ibanez tube king) act the same way as amp distortion? I really don't want to use the FX loop cause then I'm going to have to get another pair of cables from my pedal board. So I'm going at two different methods. Ok I have been out of the loop on cards as I live in China but before I left invested in 2 geforce 6800 ultra's when they first came out. Sadly good ground is lacking in China and well anyone one is dead the other works fine in Windows but as soon as you put on a 3d game it goes to hell and crashes. So I want to get at least one new card however I don't want to waste money on one of the super duper new cards that my proc won't be able to push. I am running an Athlon 64 FX-55 running at 2.61 Ghz on an Asus nForce 4 mobo A8N-SLI Deluxe I have plenty of RAM and a good sized power supply. I am still running XP. So that is another issue I would like to upgrade to Vista after they come out with a big service pack. So I would not mind getting a DX 10 card now that is if it is backwards compatible enough to run. I am leaning toward geForce 8800 gts if it is not to much for my old rig. So which way would yall go? out of the blue, my computer gives me a blue screen saying nv4_dis file is causing an infinite loop. I've gone to nvidia's website and downloaded new drivers. They didn't work. When I run my computer in safe mode, the the card is enabled and it doesn't give me a problem. However in normal mode, it gives me an all black screen saying it cannot display this video mode and something about analog input. I have to manually turn off the computer to restart. I have to go into safe mode and disable the card, then go into normal mode. I have a geforce fx 5200. Is it time for a new vodeo card? more

I know galleonfx since 2003 .I seen a friend of my live trade at FXCM which is trade by them,which is as what they said in their website.They are tally together.I not sure for other account. They are having a positive trade record since 2003. They use FXCM to trade.My question is is there any way they can be scam.As currently i cant find any loop hole and anyone who have any idea will help me alot.I asking this as i needed to know the risk factor. Money is deducted from our salaries to protect us should be become disabled. This gives us a false security. Now that it has happened to me, I realize that it is not black or white (if xyz happens to anyone, abc will cover expenses and provide 1/3 current of your income). After working 30 years of paying into politically created plans, all my working life and even as a disabled person struggling to get a new career, I found promised benefits to be similar to a game of chess that requires a workman’s comp attorney who is in the loop to access something that will help me scrape by. 1)The workman’s comp rep disputed my final condition (permanent inoperable fx wrist of dominant hand and mal-union of bone) by producing a letter from my physician stating “I expect much more improvement”. She highlighted this statement for the judge and my attorney to see and realize I will get better and should not receive continuous benefits. 2)My attorney could not make this hearing so a young associate represented me. Both he and I were under the impression that my final medical letter indicated nothing further could be done for my arm and this is a permanent condition. 3)The judge and my attorney began to concede I will receive less benefits based on the workman comp’s “state employee where I pay taxes) findings. 4)I asked to view the letter and was distraught at the time- scared about my future, I had always been independent and did not depend on others, but also I paid into this fund to provide for me. I then noticed the date of medical report (a faxed copy) had the date slightly smeared- it was a letter from before my first of three surgeries. 5)Had I not I this, neither my attorney not judge would have and the comp rep would have gotten away with her trickery. I seriously double the average tax payer would be privy to this scam either. Non medical politicians writing costly medical plans can understand consequences of the bills they pass. Why should everyone be forced to pay for a plan that does not clearly cover everyone equally and cannot be accessed with an attorney who then gets 15 -20% of your benefit? more

Does anyone know of this company? I actually came across this company because I bought a Dinosaur brand guitar amplifier for my son on an Ebay auction for about8% of it's retail cost. I got lucky on bidding on an auction that was in an oddball catagory. So of course even if it's not my Favorite tube amp ( although I guess Dinosaur makes tube amps too in China via the Eleca company) it is their 2-10 solidstate combo with chorus and reverb and 2 channels, fx loop, spkr. outs L& R. Anyway, I've built several tube amps in the past 25 years and I consider myself a pretty good mod guy. When I went to look for ANY info on this Dinosaur amp I just got dead ends. I did however find their distributer/manufacture. What was interesting was that they said they could build amps for anyone in China. Alright. I have a GeForce FX 5200 graphics card and i have had this issue a while. When ever i play games on my pc the game will somtimes freeze and the sound will loop for a min or two. In some games it will keep freezing making it unplayable and ill have to manualy shut down. This isnt just for games with high graphics. Its pretty random on what games it happenes on and which ones it doesnt. I used get bsod when it froze somtimes but i fixed that somehow (dont ask cause i dont remember). I have tried almost anything and the only option i can think of now is to buy another graphics card but i really dont want to do that since this one will still be good for a few more years. Yeah i tried that a few days ago but it didnt help. more
