Alright So befor we get to the main question here's a little background, I started riding my 1982 Yamaha Virago 920 two seasons ago and the Third Is coming Up this season I am going to do the MS course and obtain my full driving license. I live in a city with mostly straight roads and 1 hill which is the city dump. As of yet I have not been in any accidents but have had quite a few (as with any motorcycle rider) "what are yea gonna do buddy" moments. And yes I do realize the 920 was not a beginner bike but I couldn't say no to the price. Now For the Question What Defines the beginner from the intermediate to the advanced and, even though I know the answer for other out there, the expert rider at what point can you say ok I am now an _______ rider I can move onto a new class of power (I kinda like to think of it like the old mario kart ie. 50cc 100cc and 150cc). Can someone help me because I bought a Yamaha 600cc engine and a go kart frame. But do I use the rear sprocket from the engine on my go kart axle? I don't know how to because the sprocket's diameter is very long, so the sprocket would be touching the ground, as the wheels are small. Is there a way of running the go kart, without having to buy large expensive wheels? Also there are some many cables from the engine that are meant to be connected to... This is because the engine is very large and heavy. I have everything I need to make it run, but do you know anyone who will be able to install the engine to the go kart? The work should be very simple. I'm very desperate to know where I can get it installed. It just needs drilling and screwing with brackets. How much would it cost for someone to do the job? I have all the electrics with the motor. If I am not able to mount the engine I would offer this engine for sale. Do note that the engine iis very powerful - topping 130 mph - 72hp.. But I have a sprocket for the axle on the go kart which is longer than a usual go kart sprocket. And it would be too large for the chassis, as it would be touching the ground. What should I do? I have a100cc Yamaha piston port, carbed racing go-kart motor. I am entered in an open class with the only rules being a tire rule. I would like to add a Nitro kit with a CO2 cooler if possible.
