My PC was running just fine, when last night a windows update pop up and I installed them. When it finished I restart my Pc and when it came back up I had Internet but couldnt see any page... I mean, the internet connection is there, and msn and google talk was active and all, but my mozilla and internet explorer werent able to reach any web page. I got a sing telling me that there was a some kind of error whith the server or something. When I run the diagnostic tool, it prompt me an error with the AVG free antivirus and some sort of something (I dont remember what it was... think it was something like SLD, or LSD or DSL or something like that) that was not working fine. I run the repair tool, and this time when I reboot, I had internet connection, but this time nothing worked... not msn, or google talk or anything! And this time mozilla didnt display any sign... This is really weird, and Ive never seen nothing like this before. But the really spooky thing is, that when I got mad, I tried to blow vista out and install xp pro... well, I couldnt... I got the blue screen when the xp installer was loading. Itriedd another xp (XPerience) and the same. I just cant format my pc!!! What do u think this could be causing the problem, and how in the world could I fix this damn thing! Thanks before hand. and see uaroundd. Bye. Ok. But cant I get rid of Vista then??? I would love to go to XP... How can I do that? My pc wont let me do it, and I dont know why. I have a desktop PC, and whenever I try to perform certain tasks, like uploading a CD to iTunes, use Windows Movie Maker, or leave it on for a few hours, it randomly shuts down and sounds an alarm ( a high sound followed by a low one). I tried replacing the outer fan and the power supply, and it still happened. I need help! It seems as though this happens when I'm performing large tasks.
