I'm looking for a figurine or statue of a Chinese dragon (it must be a Chinese dragon, similar to the kind you would see on a Chinese restaurant placemat that shows the Chinese Zodiac, and not any other type). It's a gift for a friend of mine. It can be any size but it must be made of pure malachite. It can be in any position and it can be any size. However, I can't afford to pay too much for it, so just a small one would be great. I have been looking high and low all over the internet, and I have found pretty much every other kind of animal carved out of malachite... but not a Chinese dragon. So, if anyone can help me find one for sale, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

What does the Chinese Fireball dragon look like? i saw a picture from the harry potter card and it showed a white dragon but the figurine you can buy from the hp magazine showed a red dragon. Also, Did they show the other three students fighting in the movie's' deleted scenes. Does anoyone know if they filmed them or at least showed the baby dragons as they came out of the bag? they didn't show it in the movie. Is it in the video game or is it described in the book (goblet of fire)? i saw a picture where the dragon was white and then i saw in the Harry potter magazine that the statue had a burnt red looking dragon.

These are very old silver gilted pieces that might be older than 1888 with chinese markings and can't find information on the markings. The lady holding an urn is about 9 inches high and the man is about 9 1/2 inches high. He is holding a dog in his hands. Seems to be made of silver and has brass colored detailing. I found the lady on an antique site, but doesn't have the same markings. These figurines only have chinese on them and I don't know where to go to research these or where I should sell these. Thanks

I am from pink flip flops
purple nail polish, chopsticks with buffalo engraved on them.
I am from figurines, the wooden bench out back,
crossword puzzles, and little kids coloring books.
I am from a fish jumping out of a lake,
horses bonding together, and
cat and dogs running around simultaneously all together on the Arabian Sun’s turf.
I am from three houses working together,
Great Grandma’s cookies, and
Letters keeping in touch with the other half of my heart.
I am from the grapevine archway connecting two trees
over a hundred years old ,
listening to Grandpa’s jokes and stories about Chuck and Cassie or
Fred and Georges’ fighting adventures.
The “Steph, where’s Ben?” and “Ya, in here.”
I am from Chinese Food on the ‘Eve,
Homemade fudge, eggnog cookies and snowballs,
are good for watching 1 and 2 o’ clock soaps, and
CSI reruns.
I am from an inner realm
Of which my subconscious takes the role of leader,

a messy room is a clean space.
I am from a day that seems 17 hours, but needs to be 32.
From boxes moved over and over,
cars that have traveled across oceans and land.
I am from a family with hard hands, but
soft mouths that can comfort one minute and
mangle you the next.
I am from friends that have become family and
They will not be forgotten
As I move on to the future
One day at a time,
Never forgetting the seeds that are
Making my past.
